An Allegory of the Transforming Work of Christ

The work of God in the world he created is truly amazing! But as beautiful as God's work in creation is, it does not compare to the beauty of the redeeming work of Christ! The wonder of this work is beyond comprehension. In a similar way I am amazed at how a worm that is by nature domed to crawl in the fowl and dark places of the world is lifted to majesty of a butterfly. Only through a transformation! This transformation changes the nature of the creature, and the function of the creature. This creature which once fed off on the living now helps the living reproduce.This once awkward creature which was hopelessly bound to the earth now graces the sky. What a picture of the new life that is accomplished through the transforming power of Christ. The saving power of God not only cleanses and transforms human beings who kill and destroy one another, and defame their maker, but he makes new creatures who help reproduce life proceeding to more life! Thank God that their is hope for the human race in Christ!

One of the greatest human fears is that of rejection. Yet it is unavoidable, it is indeed a part of living in a broken world with broken people. We are reminded of one who can identify with us here, Christ Jesus the LORD. He came into the world he made, and he was rejected. He came as a member of God's covenant people and he was rejected. This is not the end of his identification with the brokenness of human kind. He also accepted our rejection before God. He who knew no sin became sin. Jesus took upon himself the wrath of God that was due humankind for our rebellion against our Maker. That is why we can call him Savior, he accepted the rejection that was rightly ours so, that we might be accepted. That is the story of Calvary, Christ was forsaken, so that we do not have to be. And this is the greatest news of all time, indeed it is the Gospel; that we who naturally reject God have been restored by God's merciful provisional of Christ for us. I pray that we may know the power of the grace and truth of Christ today!

The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. Are You a Rescuing Agent?

Rescue the perishing care for the dying,

Spread the Word the Mighty Word!

Spread O spread mighty word, Spread the kingdom of the Lord,

That to earth's remotest bound:

(Some thoughts to Consider)
To the Workaholic: One can get caught up in the rat race of life. One can get promotion after promotion, but what is the end result; what do you do when you reach the top? More importantly what do you do if you never reach the top? One can only find so much fulfillment in their career.
To the Substance Abuser: I would like for you to consider this question if you have to be under the influence of something to have a good time or feel confident about yourself could it be that your life lacks meaning and purpose.
To the Materialist: Regardless of what the old maximum says money does not make the world go round. In the current world economy money is necessary for purchase goods and services, but it cannot buy the intangible things of life. One cannot buy peace of mind, one cannot purchase true pure love, neither can one buy wisdom, nor can one rent eternal security. What is purchase power in the face of death, but a meaningless phrase?
To the Hopeless: One can do work that will have eternal dividends. The earth will not last forever but the human soul will. What will it profit a person to gain the best job, the biggest house, the finest car, yet when the death comes what are all these things.

God has called us in Christ to GO!

God has commanded all Christians to make followers of Christ in all nations. But, we are not alone Jesus promised to be with us. In Acts 1:8, we are exhorted to go in the reality that He will empower us! God is always at work everywhere. Jesus describes those that do not have a personal relationship with him as the lost sheep. So, God is at work drawing the Lost to be found in HIM!
Christians are also to be salt and light, in a world that is desperately in need of a preserving and righteous influence. The Creator and Sustainer of the universe sees and knows the hearts and minds of all his creatures. He desires for people of every tribe, and tongue, and nation to worship Him.Surely our Father weeps over the lost like Jesus wept over Jerusalem. God through the Lord Jesus Christ has provided a way to eternal life. Each person must decide to walk around God’s provision to reach eternal damnation. However; it is up to Christians to tell them. By selfishly refusing to answer the call we are siting on the thrones of our hearts, and we are blindfolded to the light and mirror of the truth, which will reveal our complacency and the needs of the lost. So who will sit on the throne of your heart; considering YOUR role in God’s plan for the Nations! With these thoughts in mind enjoy “God has called us in Christ to Go!”

The Saving Work of Christ! (The Messiah # 2)

God’s word is filled descriptions of Christ Jesus the Lord is to those who believe on his name. The Lord Jesus gave up His right as King of the universe and became a servant. He became man, so that we could have life in Him! He is as our High Priest. He is always making intersession for the saints. He is the only source of eternal living water. The Christian can rejoice in the body and blood of Christ because He was broken for our sins. The Bible also tells us that we are made righteous in Christ; He has justified us before a Holy God. Through the finished work of Christ humans can once again live in relationship with God. So with all these things in mind I hope you enjoy!

Jesus Saves Us From Ourselves!

Left side=the world that is common to human experience is filled with suffering/brokenness and a sickening sense of the good that should be. Things are not as they should be. Humans are separated from God and each other, or selfishness plagues the human race.

Right side=Thank God that He has entered time in the Person of Jesus Christ! He has made a way to experience peace with God, and healing perfect love of Christ, so that we might know our maker and our purpose. Christ is the cure for selfishness that

Hope you brought your chop sticks

But Jesus said, Allow the little children and do not prevent them to come to Me, for of such is the kingdom of Heaven.

Pro 27:6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend; profuse are the kisses of an enemy.

So many who have never heard the name of Jesus. May God burden the redeemed for those who are helplessly and hopelessly lost in darkness!

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice, and let them say among the nations, "The LORD reigns!"
